What’s New in 2023

What’s New in 2023?

In 2023, only the S trim is available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive with a four-cylinder 16-valve 2.5L engine. Front-wheel drive is standard, and upgrading to the all-wheel drive configuration will cost you $1,850 more. All other models come standard in a three-cylinder 12-valve 1.5L engine. We’re pleased to announce that Nissan continued the very hot Midnight Edition trim.

Pure leather quilt-stitched seating in the SL and Platinum models. The front end is sharper with LED boomerang-shaped headlights, and the grille has been tweaked to be more prominent. The dashboard gets a fully digital instrument panel and advanced high-tech features, including wireless phone integration, more advanced safety aids, and Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist.

Engine Specs and Fuel Economy

Engine-Specs-and-Fuel-Economy

In 2023, the four upper trims all have a three-cylinder 12-valve 1.5L engine. The S model is available in a standard four-cylinder 16-valve 2.5L engine. You may be forgiven for thinking that the 1.5L is weak in comparison to the 2.5L. In fact, the 1.5L gives out far better power than the 2.5L, providing 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque. That’s 22 more hp and 44 more lb-ft of torque than the 2.5L.

You’ll also be pleased to know that the smaller engine performs far better at fuel efficiency. It’ll give you approximately 7.6L/100km combined, 6.7L/100km on the highway, and 8.4L/100km in the city. It’s a considerable improvement compared to the larger 2.5L engine. It consumes an estimated 8.1L/100km combined, 7.1L/100km on the highway, and 9.0L/100km in the city.

Infotainment and Technology

Standard advanced tech includes Advanced Drive Assist, a 20.32cm NissanConnect touchscreen, mobile phone compatibility, a USB port, Bluetooth with streaming audio capabilities, and a hands-free texting assistant. The Platinum gets additional upgrades, including four USB ports, SiriusXM, and a built-in Alex assistant. Plus, it gets a 31.24cm digital dashboard cluster.

The most impressive upgrades to the Rogue include the massive range of standard driver safety technology, which include, but aren’t limited to, cruise control, an intelligent emergency braking system with pedestrian detection, a rear-automatic braking system, a blind-spot warning system, and a rear-cross traffic alert system.

ProPILOT Assist is included in the four upper models. You have the option to upgrade to Bose premium sound system with subwoofers.
